My tour group stayed here at the beginning and end of our tour of Madagascar. This hotel and its lovely expansive grounds is tucked away from the congestion of the city and a surprise when entering the gate being a true oasis within a very crowded city of Tana (Antananarivo). Also very close to the airport, avoiding
long traffic delays. The hotel is within a walled and gate enclosure and covers a large area of beautifully landscaped plants and towering pines and other trees. There are separate groups of bungalow rooms around the main reception and dining building and separate conference center. The breakfast is a excellent buffet-style with many choices, unlike the normal French-style continental breakfasts served at most of our hotels in Madagascar that we stayed at on this tour. The lunch and dinner food options were numerous and excellently
prepared- highly recommended. There is also a very nice pool area as well as conference center.
The bungalow rooms were very nice, well kept and spacious with A/C. Excellent Wifi connection. The staff- dining, housekeeping and reception were all so friendly and helpful. There were frequent power outages but that is common, I noticed in many places we stayed in Madagascar.
This is the place to stay in Tana, especially if you want to avoid huge traffic delays due to the congestion in the city- as this hotel is very close to the airport. Plus it is such an oasis of quiet in a woody enclave of towering trees and wonderful landscaping.
